I’ve used Okkiyo black mascara for the past year and am very happy with it. I find the application is very even and the square edged container allows a firmer hold when applying than the usual barrel shape. I’ve also just tried them brown mascara and love that as my daytime lash tint.
This is a fantastic quality mascara, no irritation or smudging, and it comes off easily. Great to know there are no nasty, harmful chemicals in its composition. This is a product I would re-order.
Great for contact wearing doesnt sting eyes and get under the lenses when you rub your eye briefly.

The mascara certainly doesn’t irritate , but I look forward to the tubing mascara which I think is easier to apply .
I have marginal keratitis due to a few autoimmune issues, so get dry eyes etc. So far I am liking this product. I find it a little wet to start off with but I re-distribute with a different brush. Over many years of trials, I have found for my eyelashes the Rimmel 100% waterproof mascara in the blue tube has the best brush for application. So I’m using a bit of both.
I am notorious for panda eyes so can usually only use tubing mascara. This mascara is wonderful, gives full lashes that stays put all day and is super easy to remove (I just use a balm cleanser all over). This and one other are definitely now my holy grail
This is the only mascara I buy now. Great product for my sensitive eyes.
This is the first mascara I can wear without it irritating my eyes. I was pleasantly surprised! My only criticism is that the applicator wand is terrible and it comes out in clumps. I will be using an applicator that I have from another old mascara (washed of course) to apply the mascara. Thanks tho!
The brush is not well shaped and it is very difficult to keep the mascara on the eyelashes and not on your eyelid! It hasn’t made any difference to my dry eye problems.
I have severe dry eye from cararact surgery 10 yrs ago. I reacted to the drops immediately afterwards and was told it would be ok. It was not. I have no working meibomian glands..most atrophied...the few remaining will not unblock despite all my attempts to do so.
On top of this i couldnt tolerate mascara anymore. I am blonde with invisible lashes. I wore mascara since i was 15yo. I am now 71yo.
I have tried so many mascaras over the years in a desperate attempt to look like i used to. Even though i would still suffer from the dry eye i wanted to look better and feel more confident.
So far i have been able to tolerate okkiyo fairly well but can only put a light coating on my upper lashes. Its been ez to clean off without hurting my eyes more.
I wont wear it every day. I am hoping to get my eyes used to it so i can wear it daily.
Any suggestions to help will be appreciated.

my old mascara just wasn’t cut it and I couldn’t wear it anymore. Since buying this I’ve worn it everyday it feels so much better no sting, no crusty itch. Easy to remove. Very Happy.
This mirror works ok but it is very over-priced for what it is.
Easy to apply. Feels so gentle and does not clump. Extremely happy 😊
I purchased what i thought was an Australian made product... The brush is very basic and lacks the coverage of finer 'bristles'. My purchase was about 4 weeks ago and its gone clumpy. An expensive purchase that I unfortunately wont be supporting again.
Great mascara glides on stayed on all day no irritation no smudging, glides off at night. Love it will be sharing with my friends, family & will be purchasing again
I purchased this mascara earlier this year after recovering from cataract surgery. I have been really impressed with it and recently gave one to my sister as a birthday gift as she had told me she was having problems with her mascara running, smudging and suffering with dry eyes.
She rang me to let me know that she was amazed at how great her eyes felt at the end of the day. Normally she couldn't wait to remove her makeup as soon as she finished work.
"It felt like I wasn't even wearing mascara!" she said.
We can't recommend it highly enough.
I'm eagerly awaiting the arrival of a cleansing balm and perhaps some eye shadows???
